Those patterns at once seemed to come alive, writhing and turning and giving off a dazzling Dao light.

That Dao light, refracted by the fragments of Da Luotian, shone in all directions, and in the void of Youdu there at once emerged more strange Dao markings than could be counted, racing through Youdu like gunpowder set alight.

Those locked in battle felt a strange covenant linking to their fleshly bodies and primordial spirits. "This is the blood sacrifice grand formation branded into the Ancestral Court, and this covenant is the blood sacrifice covenant," Hao Tianzun said.

" He lifted his head and gazed upward within Youdu, and saw what the Earth Earl had seen when gazing upward in Youdu.

It was the countless living beings of all the heavens and myriad worlds.

World after world, numberless lives, their joys and angers and sorrows, their meetings and partings, all entered his eyes. In former days the Heavenly Lord had never understood why the Earth Earl did not wish to attain the Dao and wished only to become human, and now he somewhat understood.

If to attain the Dao one must cast away the happiness of the human world, then what meaning has attaining the Dao?

It would be better to be a human with joy and anger and sorrow and with meeting and parting.

With a sweep of his sleeve the Heavenly Lord seized the Heavenly Dao treasures, meaning to turn back and rescue Shen Mu.

And at that moment the sky of Youdu split, and a celestial palace flashing with dense divine light descended from the heavens.

It was a Zaofu Celestial Palace. The Zaofu Celestial Palace of the celestial court was now masterless, and without the control of Lady Yuanmu the Creation divine artifact within it could be wielded by no one.

Hao Tianzun smiled faintly, the Myriad Dao Heaven Wheel behind his head turned, the companion supreme treasure of the Taisu Goddess flew out and fell into the Zaofu Celestial Palace, and the Creation divine artifact within that palace at once awoke.

The Dao of Creation within that palace all but boiled, the Creation divine artifact forged in those years by Ling Tianzun ran at unimaginable speed, and from that incomparably complex artifact shot beams of light, and within the turning rings there slowly formed a towering body.

Suddenly the Divine Artifact Yu Tianzun strode forth.

The Heavenly Lord drew in a cold breath, with no time to rescue Shen Mu, and at once ran for the Deliverance Golden Ship.

"Ling Tianzun, I will deal with Xu Tianzun," he shouted. "The Creation divine artifact was made by you, you deal with it.

" Hao Tianzun paid him no mind and walked toward the Zaofu Celestial Palace, saying idly. "The Creation divine artifact, fused with the wish-granting of the Dao of Taisu and with the companion treasure of Aunt Taisu, is no longer Ling Tianzun's artifact. That the Heavenly Lord still thinks Ling Tianzun can destroy the Creation divine artifact overrates her.

" Shen Mu said.

"Hao Tianzun, can it be that you mean to let Lingyu High Venerable take up residence within the body of the Divine Artifact Yu Tianzun?

" Hao Tianzun smiled.

"Mu Tianzun is indeed clever, but not clever enough.

Having gained the Dao of Taisu and Taisu's treasure, I can control the Creation divine artifact, and make as many Divine Artifact Yu Tianzuns as I wish.
