The Taiji Ancient God had at last acted, stretching space without limit and drawing ever closer the distance between Guixu and the Taiji Star Domain! The Empress is a Dao-born ancient god, but like the sacrifice-born ancient gods, the nearer she is to her birthplace the stronger she grows. The other Dao-born ancient gods are the same, such as Tubo and Tiangong, who are strongest within their own birthplaces of Youdu and Xuandu.
Now that Guixu drew near, the Empress's battle power was steadily climbing! At the same time the Shenqi Yu Heavenly Venerable stirred in heart and likewise sensed the coming of Guixu, and could not help great joy.
He too felt his power rising!
Within the Shenqi Yu Heavenly Venerable it was Madam Yuanmu controlling him with her own primordial spirit, and her spirit, like the Empress's, issued from Guixu, of the same source. With Guixu approaching, her strength would naturally keep rising!
The Qiang Heavenly Consort also sensed the breath of Guixu at the first instant, and her face could not help changing.
She hastily looked up and saw above the Taiji Star Domain a long narrow abyss appear, black and fathomless.
At first that abyss was extremely distant, looking from afar like an eye half open and half closed. Yet the abyss was gradually growing larger, not because the abyss itself grew, but because its distance was closing! About the abyss ringed mountains formed of Guixu Abyss Iron, and around it floated dead stars, some broken and ragged, dragged by this suddenly appearing abyss to circle and revolve around it.
Within the abyss two great blossoms were slowly surfacing from the dark.
"Ruined! Those two little wretches have actually summoned Guixu!
" Even the Qiang Heavenly Consort could not help her face changing at this moment, feeling deeply thorned. What she had not expected was that it was not the Empress and Yuanmu who summoned Guixu, but the Taiji Ancient God wielding his own power to draw space close!
Shen Mu also sensed the breath of Guixu, and his face could not help changing.
He had forcibly raised his cultivation to test his strength, to see whether he could contend with a Heavenly Venerable, not to throw his life away. The Guixu Great Abyss is a place that even Tiangong feels dread to behold, deeming it the land where the myriad Daos are ground to extinction.
With this great abyss appearing, the Empress's strength must surge violently, growing stronger the nearer it came.
He had to prove his strength before the Empress's power climbed to its peak.
He did not seek to finish the Empress, nor did he have the power to do so. He only wished to lock wrists with a Heavenly Venerable!
He gave a long howl and his form erupted, every shred of his power bursting forth in that instant!
With his first step he lifted heaven with both hands and pressed down earth, each hand pinching a different seal, transforming into the first heaven of the Dao realm, the Four Revered Seals of Heaven and Earth!
About him the Four Revered Seals formed a domain round as heaven and square as earth, and four god-demon faces emerged, joy, anger, sorrow, and delight, gazing to the four quarters. With his second step a Mysterious Gate of Heaven and Earth appeared behind him, its portal joining sky to land, reaching Xuandu above and Youdu below, borrowing strength from heaven and earth together.
This was the second heaven of the Dao realm.
With his third step the Heavenly River rushed in a mighty torrent, and the Four Polar Heavens emerged, ringing the Mysterious Gate and the Four Revered Seals.
With his fourth step the Daluo Heaven gathered round and took form above, his crowning Daluo Heaven like a splendid canopy. With his fifth step purple blossoms flew forth, one dividing into two, two into four, four into eight, and in a blink painted full the layered heavens.
