At such a moment there was no need to drive any complex sword move or technique; only one basic sword form was required — the thrust. Never mind what moves the enemy used, never mind what treasures the enemy called up, never mind the enemy's formations: from the sky above, downward, with all one's mana and divine sense — thrust!
This was carpet bombing, flying-sword style! Countless sword rains fell from the heavens, piercing the bodies of the Five Chariots Army's gods and demons, piercing their primordial spirits, piercing the precious carriages one after another, and in an instant men and chariots were overturned!
Once a carriage's pill furnace was pierced, waves of dread power surged forth and the furnace exploded; shattered carriages and the severed limbs of the gods and demons aboard went whirling into the sky. In the sky the flying chariots wove and crossed; the flying swords that had fallen shrieked back up into the air, there knitting again into sword pills that, under the control of the soldiers on Carefree Village's flying chariots, flew forward and kept washing the ground, and wherever they passed, the Heavenly Court's Five Chariots formation fell into chaos.
Left Junior Chancellor Yan Sheng, presiding over the central army, wore a cold expression.
At a single shouted order, the doors of five Celestial Arsenal Towers opened all at once, and what drove out of them was nothing but Broad Chariots. These Broad Chariots were larger than ordinary Broad Chariots, their wheels higher, their walls thicker, yet they had no pill furnaces; as they slid from the towers, the Heavenly Court soldiers and generals within urged their summoning divine abilities, and the sky split open with crack after crack!
Behind those cracks was revealed the vast and boundless world of the Beast Realm.
One after another enormous beasts, fully harnessed, leapt into the air and into the cracks, descending from the Beast Realm!
These giant beasts were the primordial titans of the Beast Realm, their frames immeasurably vast. Leaping into the Primordial Realm, they roared, and were then caught by chains flying out from the Broad Chariots, which locked onto the clasps at their necks.
The giant beasts galloped, hauling the huge Broad Chariots in reckless charges; others spread feathered wings and hauled the chariots up into the sky, while the gods and demons within urged their divine weapons through the carriage bars, attacking Carefree Village's flying chariots! These primordial titans did not fear flying swords; even when a divine sword struck their bodies it was blocked by their hard hides.
In a moment, who knew how many flying chariots were smashed and fell from the sky.
And the giant beasts running along the ground roared without cease, dragging Broad Chariots in a charge at Linguan City. Linguan City was the first divine city on the cliff adjoining Taihuang Heaven.
Vast was that city, and its soldiers had long been prepared; yet seeing the giant beasts surge forward like a tide, the soldiers could not help but turn ashen.
The Fisherman Hantang saw this and rose at once.
"Three senior brothers," he said, "it is my turn to go to war! " The Woodcutter Sage said, "Long Xiao, lord of the Beast Realm, is not to be trusted.
The man cowers before power, and you must beware of him turning on us. " The Fisherman Heavenly Master departed swiftly, his voice carrying from far off: "I know it well!
I administer the livestock husbandry of the Kaihuang Heavenly Court, and the beast-taming arts I founded need not be inferior to those of Heavenly Venerate Long Xiao! " He led his own troops out from Taihuang Heaven.
He was the Heavenly Master charged with husbandry in the Kaihuang Heavenly Court, and the divine soldiers and generals under him were all masters of the herdsman's way; one after another they urged their summoning divine abilities, and the sky split open again as primordial titans of the Beast Realm descended from the heavens.
