He expounded the new cultivation system to the gods of every race in the Lanfeng Valley.
Beginning with the Spirit Fetus, this realm was not much different from what people had learned before.
The second realm was the Star River Divine Treasury; once the Star River Divine Treasury was opened, it evolved into Xuandu. The third realm was the Heavenly River Divine Treasury; the Heavenly River was opened and set flowing, and then the fourth realm was opened—the Four Extremes Heaven.
The Four Extremes Heaven realm had four subsidiary divine treasuries. After establishing the Four Extremes Heaven realm, one opened the three realms of Yuandu, Youdu, and Guixu. After these seven realms came the most crucial realm of all. That was the opening of the greatest divine treasury—the Ancestral Court!
After opening the Ancestral Court, one established the realms of the Ancestral Court's Four Heavenly Gates, the Yaochi and Yaotai, the Heavenly Sea, the God-Slaying Platform, the Nine Hells Platform, and so on, elevating one's comprehension of the Dao Realm! This was precisely why Shen Mu said that the Dao Realm system and the Ancestral Court system were most compatible. The Ancestral Court's Four Heavenly Gates, the Yaochi and Yaotai, the Heavenly Sea, the God-Slaying Platform, the Nine Hells Platform—these greatly enhanced the Dao Realm.
When cultivating these realms, one's Dao Realm cultivation advanced by leaps and bounds, almost as if soaring!
This was the greatest and strongest advantage of the new cultivation system! After cultivating these realms, without the Jade Capital, Lingxiao, Imperial Throne, or Heavenly Court realms, Lan Yutian went directly to the Five Supreme realms, comprehending the Innate Five Supremes, forming five great ore veins within the Ancestral Court divine treasury—Taiji, Taizu, Taishi, Taichu, and Taiyi!
If these five realms were cultivated to completion, one could advance further and cultivate the World Tree!
The World Tree was the Dao Tree of every cultivator of the new system, fully fused with the Dao Realm system.
As one's Dao Realm advanced layer by layer, layer upon layer of void would appear within the body's divine treasury, and the Dao imprints contained within the Dao Realm would reside therein. The World Tree would thereupon gradually become clear, gradually grow, and gradually mature.
When the Dao Realm reached the Thirty-Sixth Heaven, the World Tree would reach full maturity, transforming into the cultivator's Dao Tree!
However, Lan Yutian and Xu Shenghua had only comprehended up to this step when the Heavenly Court launched its great invasion, forcing their research to a halt. But presumably there were yet other realms beyond, such as the Dao Flower, the Dao Fruit, and so on.
Amid Lan Yutian's Dao tones, Shen Mu walked toward the Heavenly Court's main camp.
The Heavenly Court's great army was steadily advancing forward, and the main camp moved along with it. Ahead, scouts were constantly probing the way—these scouts flew in the sky, ran on the ground, swam through water, traveled beneath the earth, appearing and vanishing with uncanny stealth. From afar, a scout spotted Shen Mu.
His heart skipped a beat, and he was so frightened that he froze in place, not daring to move.
"You may go back and report to the Haotian Heavenly Venerable. Tell him the Seventh Young Master Shen Mu has arrived," Shen Mu said with a faint smile. The scout fled in a panic, making straight for the Heavenly Court's great army.
After a moment, the armies at the front of the Heavenly Court abruptly halted, each deploying one killing formation after another, standing ready in strict formation!
