Shen Fengqing drove the Six Paths Heavenly Wheel, and the wheel howled as it spun, rolling up the primordial spirits of the scattered soldiers of the two guards and dropping them into the wheel. His six arms spread wide as he reached to seize the two vast formation diagrams.
At that moment Youdu shook violently, a Celestial River rammed its way in unchecked, and falling into Youdu it became the Ming River, and upon the Ming River appeared fleets vast as continents, ship after ship, while countless divine arts flew up thick as locusts, striking at You Tianzun and Shen Fengqing together!
Those were the tower ships of the Tianhe navy!
The Tianhe navy was one of the Three Navies, and though it had once been defeated by the Woodcutter Wen Tiange leading the army of Carefree Land, its main force survived.
Now the river entered Youdu because it had seen the peril of the two Dragon Martial Guards and had come to their aid.
The battlefield lay in the space of Youdu overlapping the Heavenly Court's camp, so the Tianhe navy needed no march and could descend here directly.
Youdu was no ordinary place, and once they entered it the flesh upon the navy soldiers sloughed away, leaving piled white bone.
Their cultivation could not match the two Dragon Martial Guards, but they prevailed in sheer numbers, and the navy's entry added many variables to this battle.
As the stretch of river pouring into Youdu grew longer and longer, and the navy's tower ships upon its surface grew more and more numerous, suddenly the waters halted, then shrank back to the world of the living at flying speed, as if a giant had seized the great river and dragged it back by force! The peril of You Tianzun and Shen Fengqing was resolved in an instant, and each struck down without mercy.
Outside the Heavenly Court's camp, another river suddenly appeared and joined with the Celestial River, that being the missing stretch of river once sealed by Ling Tianzun into immutable substance within the ruins of the Shanghuang Heavenly Court.
Now that stretch reappeared and joined with the river, while the Black Tortoise and Soaring Serpent forms of the two Xuanwu Emperors strained with all their might, dragging by brute force the navy that had entered Youdu back out of Youdu!
These two ancient god emperors possessed terrifying cultivation, existences of Heavenly Venerable rank, and now upon sacred ground the power of ancient gods was urged to its utmost!
They did not merely drag the river and its navy out of Youdu, they dragged the navy out of the Heavenly Court's camp as well!
The river crushed whole stretches of wall, opening breach after breach, and the fleet was dragged out of the camp with it, as Emperor Xuan laughed aloud: "Sons of the Northern Polar Heaven, prepare to meet battle!
Fallen Emperor, are you ready?
" Wei Suifeng gave a cold snort and led the soldiers of the Yulin Army forward to meet them. At the same time the ground army led by Granny Zhu reached the outside of the Heavenly Court's camp, ahead of them the various Heavenly Court armies surging like a tide toward Carefree Land and toward the World Tree.
"Four Poles Division!
Offer! " At Granny Zhu's command, Jiang Yunjian at once led his soldiers rushing out first, each offering up the divine weapons of the Four Ancient Emperors, the Five Thunder Pot opened, and at once the Five Great Cloud Thunders filled the sky, blotting out the heavens cleanly, while countless thunderbolts split down from above and the Heavenly Court gods and devils below were thrown head over heels!
