...

"What? Wei Zhao? He's here? Where?" Zhong Yongliang was startled as well and quickly looked up toward where Zhang Naipao was pointing, and sure enough, he saw Wei Zhao strolling in through the school gate in his uniform with his schoolbag slung over his shoulder, looking perfectly at ease.

"Damn, this kid looks pretty relaxed," Zhang Naipao muttered, irritated by Wei Zhao's carefree air. Yesterday this bastard had nearly given him a concussion, and he still had a lump on his head and several band-aids plastered across his face. Just thinking about it made his blood boil.

"Brother Liang, shall we go over?" Gao Xiaofu said without thinking.

"Go over? What the hell for? Can you beat him?" Zhong Yongliang shot Gao Xiaofu an annoyed glance. Did you still think you were such a fighter? Were you not taken down in one move yesterday?

Gao Xiaofu came to his senses at once. Yesterday the three of them had been beaten to pieces by Wei Zhao, and going over now would only be asking for trouble. He shrank back and could only glare at Wei Zhao in impotent anger.

Just as the three of them were stewing, they suddenly saw Zou Ruoming stop Wei Zhao and order him to fetch the ball, and at once they put on the look of men waiting for a good show, staring fixedly at Wei Zhao without blinking.

"Ha, this is perfect. Someone is going to sort out Wei Zhao for us," Gao Xiaofu said, venting his pent-up anger as he watched things unfold.

This Zou Ruoming was a ruthless character, especially with an older brother who ran with the underworld. If Wei Zhao clashed with him, they would not even need to trouble themselves about revenge. Zou Ruoming would finish him off.

"With Wei Zhao's temper, there is no way he will fetch the ball for him," Zhang Naipao said smugly. "Zou Ruoming can really fight. Now there will be a good show to watch."

Zhong Yongliang also watched with keen interest as conflict brewed between Wei Zhao and Zou Ruoming. If things went as Zhang Naipao said, letting Zou Ruoming beat Wei Zhao up first would not be bad at all.

"Huh? No way? When did Wei Zhao get so weak?" Seeing Wei Zhao actually go to pick up the ball, Gao Xiaofu's mouth fell open. Was this still the same Wei Zhao from yesterday? The Wei Zhao from yesterday was nothing like this. Could this be his twin brother today?

"That Wei Zhao makes me furious," Zhong Yongliang clenched his fists. "So he knows how to pick his targets. In front of Zou Ruoming he acts so obedient. Does he look down on me, Zhong Yongliang? I swear I will never let him off."

Zhang Naipao and Gao Xiaofu were furious as well. This was provocation, naked provocation. Were they really so much worse than Zou Ruoming and his lot?

While the three were still fuming, a dramatic scene unfolded. Wei Zhao tossed the basketball, and it slammed into Zou Ruoming's hands, tore straight through them, and then smashed into his face. A moment later, blood spurted from Zou Ruoming's nose and he collapsed to the ground...

"Holy shit, no way?" Zhang Naipao gaped.

"I knew Wei Zhao was no good. How could he be so obedient," Zhong Yongliang said, and as he spoke he felt a weight lift from his chest. To be honest, Wei Zhao's submission to Zou Ruoming just now had really annoyed him. Now seeing Zou Ruoming knocked flat by Wei Zhao just like himself yesterday, he felt a surge of vindication, and this Zou Ruoming had ended up even worse than he had yesterday.

"Zou Ruoming is out of luck this time. Damn it, who told him to mess with Wei Zhao? That kid is just a f**king madman," Gao Xiaofu gloated with malicious delight as he recalled what Wei Zhao had done on the rooftop yesterday.
