Zou Ruoming stared in disbelief at what had just happened before his eyes! Brother Black Panther had been taken down just like that? Others might not know Brother Black Panther's strength, but Zou Ruoming certainly did. Brother Black Panther could really fight; it could be said that even his own boss was no match for the man. And yet a tough character like that had been dropped so lightly, so effortlessly, by Wei Zhao, without the boy even working up a sweat.
"Damn, that works too?" One of Zou Ruoming's men goggled. "This kid must have stepped in dog shit. What luck!"
But Zou Ruoming shook his head. He was no fool; on the contrary, he was rather sharp. He did not believe that Wei Zhao had taken Brother Black Panther down by luck. What kind of man was Brother Black Panther? A man who treated fighting as casually as eating! He had been scrapping and scrambling on the "battlefield" for years. How could he possibly be floored by a fluke? If that were possible, he might as well quit the game; he would have died in some accident long ago!
So skill was skill. Zou Ruoming understood now that the basketball he had taken that morning had not been undeserved. Brother Black Panther was in far worse shape than he was; from the look of him, he probably would not be getting up.
Sure enough, Wei Zhao had not meant to take Brother Black Panther's life, but neither had he intended to let him off easily. So with that kick, his pelvis had not exploded, but a fracture was inevitable, and a month or so in the hospital was certain.
"Brother Black Panther!" Brother Black Panther's two underlings had not expected Wei Zhao to be so tough, taking down their boss the moment he made his move. Their eyes went red at once, and the two of them closed in on Wei Zhao together.
Wei Zhao was thoroughly annoyed. Today was the first day of morning break exercises, and he had been looking forward to studying it properly, only to have these few clowns ruin it.
"Kill him for me!" Brother Black Panther struggled a few times, but in the end the searing pain in his lower body kept him from getting up. Still, he gritted his teeth, a savage light in his eyes. In all these years he had never suffered such a loss, and now he had lost badly to a student. That was something he could not tolerate!
Today it was either Wei Zhao's death or his own. If Wei Zhao was allowed to walk away smug and untouched, then Brother Black Panther would have no place in this world anymore!
Brother Black Panther's hysteria finally enraged Wei Zhao. He had not intended to do much to the man, but this creature simply did not know better and was still howling about killing him. Wei Zhao frowned and put his foot on Brother Black Panther's cheek. There was a crack, and Brother Black Panther screamed; his entire jaw had been knocked out of joint.
Wei Zhao's move scared the two underlings stiff just as they were about to step forward! Both were newcomers Brother Black Panther had taken in not long ago, and neither had ever been in a real fight. He had brought them along today to broaden their horizons and bolster their courage; after all, beating a student who could not fight back was the way to cultivate a taste for violence in them.
But the situation now was the exact opposite: the one beaten so badly he could not get up was Brother Black Panther! This man who existed like a god in the eyes of his two underlings! Wei Zhao's brutality made their legs go weak at once.
