At lunch break, the senior-year wing of the teaching building was quite quiet, without the noisy bustle of the freshman and sophomore wings.

Wei Zhao looked over and sure enough saw Bu Ruoming and Zhong Yongliang talking about something. Both were turned sideways, so Wei Zhao could not read their lips. In truth, he had no telescopic or X-ray vision or any such gift, and at this distance he could not have made out their words even face to face.
"What does Bu Ruoming's family do?" Because of Tang Yun, Wei Zhao knew clashes with Bu Ruoming would be unavoidable from now on. What happened on Friday had only been the beginning.
"Bu Ruoming, his father is a property developer who started out as a labor contractor. They say he is black-hearted and always holds back the workers' wages." Wei Zhao found that he and Shen Yushu were growing more and more in sync. If she were not Gu Mengyao's best friend, Wei Zhao would not have minded getting a little flirtatious with her, just to make this trip worthwhile.
