Chapter 1402 — The Realm of the Nine Prison Platform

To him it was a fortune — and no misfortune.

Shen Mu's present state gave him much to ponder: if he were to lose his identity as an egg-born ancient god, lose everything he now possessed, could he rise again?

The road by which a hero rises is hard, but harder still is the hero's fall, and the long climb back.

Those who can do it are the finest of men! Shen Mu's Dao Heart was gathering once more, bit by bit, as though he were walking again the whole road by which he had first tempered it; as his Dao Heart slowly re-formed, his cultivation and strength pressed on, breaking the seals of the Nine Prison Platform without cease.

With the re-forming of his Dao Heart, the seals of the Nine Prison Platform were undone little by little, and his cultivation and strength recovered with them.

More than that: for every thread of the seal he loosened, the seal of the Nine Prison Platform turned into a wondrous music and law of the Dao, merging into his Dao Heart, merging into his cultivation!

This was an entirely new realm, a realm he had never touched before. And yet this realm was being opened up by him, brought slowly toward perfection!
