The third path seemed the most likely, but was in truth the least likely of all, for Young Master Wuji could not approach the World Tree! Moreover, even if she could draw upon the power of the tribulation of destruction, she could not obtain the power of the tribulation of creation.

More crucially, Shen Mu had sealed the Ancestral Court and was refining it; she could not destroy the Ancestral Court and reduce it to chaos qi.

She could go to the Sea of Chaos suspended in the sky, but there were Shen Mu's Six Paths Heavenly Wheels, immense in power, and she did not know what fate would befall her once she went there. After the Battle of Guixu, Shen Mu had, so to speak, pinned her down completely, leaving her no chance of turning the tables.

Shen Mu's gaze was deep and dark as his voice carried far: "Second Sister, Old Man Wuyai has passed away. " The countless abysses swimming in the air suddenly halted; one after another they devoured and merged with each other, and soon only a single abyss remained.

Then that abyss vanished.

Shen Mu's eyes flickered; his body rose into the air and became a streak of flowing light, shooting straight for the Sea of Chaos.

Young Master Wuji was likewise possessed of heaven-reaching wisdom, and knew that after slaying Old Man Wuyai, Shen Mu's next target was herself. Thus she acted with extraordinary decisiveness and headed straight for the Sea of Chaos.

If she could reach the Sea of Chaos before Shen Mu, destroy the Six Paths Heavenly Wheels, and rebuild the great abyss of Guixu, then the outcome of this battle would still be unknown!

Even if she could not rebuild the abyss, so long as she planted her Guixu lotus platform in the Sea of Chaos, she would still have the strength for a battle! Whoosh— On the surface of the Sea of Chaos, a startling great rift suddenly appeared, and roots came surging out from the rift, plunging into the Sea of Chaos.

In the instant the roots entered the sea, a massive sixteen-graded lotus platform was dragged out from the rift. At the same time, the Six Paths Heavenly Wheels formed of chaos stones rumbled into motion, lifting the entire Sea of Chaos.

The Six Paths Heavenly Wheels were like six massive waterwheels; having scooped up the Sea of Chaos, they turned with an obscure and profound motion, and the Dao of Reincarnation filled the skies of the Ancestral Court.

At the very moment the Six Paths Heavenly Wheels began to turn, the figure of Young Master Wuji appeared atop the sixteen-graded lotus platform.

Her white hair surged like a tide toward the Heavenly Wheels, locking them with a series of swift lashes. The white hair was like a living thing, growing madly, and soon it covered every wheel, preventing the Six Paths Heavenly Wheels from turning.

Young Master Wuji raised her hand and struck at the Six Paths Heavenly Wheels.

If she could destroy the wheels and rebuild Guixu, then Shen Mu might not be her match. Her palm passed through the layered radiance formed by the Dao of Reincarnation. In an instant the flesh and blood of her arm rotted and decayed at a flying speed, exposing stark white bone; then flesh and blood grew anew, only to turn to bone once more in the next moment within the light of reincarnation.

Not only that, this tendency to rot and decay followed her magic power and invaded her true body, spreading to her arm and her shoulder. The Dao of Reincarnation was rapidly consuming her cultivation, seeking to drag her into reincarnation and obliterate her utterly. Young Master Wuji gritted her teeth and, heedless of all else, unleashed this strike!

Boom! Her palm slammed heavily onto the Six Paths Heavenly Wheels; the massive wheels collapsed with a thunderous crash, bursting into countless flying fragments of stone.

Joy rose in Young Master Wuji's heart. Just as she was about to rouse her magic power to remake Guixu, a Dao Fruit suddenly flew over and landed amid the rubble. Dao light spilled from the Dao Fruit, and countless chaos stones tumbled through the air, reassembling themselves into the Six Paths Heavenly Wheels.

Before the Heavenly Wheels appeared Shen Mu's small figure. The Dao Fruit floated behind his head, radiating the Dao light of the Six Paths of Reincarnation.

Hum!

The first Heavenly Wheel trembled, then spun with a howl, swelling and growing larger as its power was driven to the utmost!

Hum, hum, hum!

The power of the second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth Heavenly Wheels was awakened in turn, like six halos of chaos of the utmost antiquity, arrayed in a line according to size, one behind another.

Young Master Wuji's heart sank: "Seventh, your Dao of Reincarnation has also attained the Dao? " Shen Mu nodded and said, "I have too many distractions, and the types of great Daos I cultivate are exceedingly numerous. Originally it would have been very difficult for me to attain the Dao through reincarnation.
