Zhong Yongliang was terrified Brother Black Panther would crack and give him up. Then forget pursuing Gu Mengyao. Whether he could even stay in this school would be another question entirely.
When Wei Zhao came back from Gu Pengzhan's place, he checked the time on his phone. It was already past eleven at noon. Going to school now would mean no classes anyway. Worried about Yang Huaijun's injuries, and having come in a rush without bringing his books on traditional medicine, Wei Zhao hesitated, then flagged down a taxi and told the driver, "Take me to the biggest bookstore in the city."
"Young man, the biggest bookstores in this city are Xinhua Bookstore and Xuehai Bookstore. They are about the same size, but what kind of books are you looking to buy?" the taxi driver asked after hearing him.
"Oh? What is the difference between the two? I want medical books." Wei Zhao's books had always been brought back by the old man on his trips into town. He had never bought any himself.
"If you want literature or general books, Xinhua Bookstore is naturally your first choice. Their stock is more complete. But if you want academic books, then it is Xuehai Bookstore. That one serves students and researchers." The driver said, "Since you want medical books, I recommend Xuehai Bookstore."
