He opened the outer iron gate of the villa and found Shen Yushu's garage, where to his surprise a yellow Beetle was parked. Wei Zhao smiled wryly and rubbed his nose. It was a rather feminine car. Men drove them too, of course, but this color was really flashy.
Wei Zhao opened the door and got in, drove the car out of Shen Yushu's villa, and parked it by the roadside. If he drove straight out of the villa later, he might arouse Gu Mengyao's suspicion, but out on the road it did not matter. There were plenty of cars just like it, and this late at night Gu Mengyao would never look closely enough to check the license plate.
He switched off the headlights and waited quietly for Gu Mengyao's car to come out.
After a while, Gu Mengyao's Audi S5 rolled slowly out of the villa, and as it turned the corner it gave a honk of the horn, as if deliberately signaling to Wei Zhao.
Wei Zhao was briefly taken aback, then understood. It was probably Shen Yushu driving, giving him a little reminder.
Wei Zhao turned on his headlights, started the engine, and followed slowly behind. Since it was Shen Yushu driving, Wei Zhao felt all the more at ease. With Uncle Qing at their side, Gu Mengyao and Shen Yushu naturally behaved themselves and could not do anything too outrageous. After all, Uncle Qing was Gu Pengzhan's trusted man, and he could report everything happening here back at any time.
